Preferred retail pharmacies

Preferred pharmacies offer preferred cost-sharing for plan members. When you use one of our 30,000+ preferred pharmacies – like Walgreens or Duane Reade – you’ll pay less for your drugs than when you use a pharmacy with standard cost-sharing.

Whichever plan you select,
you will enjoy lower prices at
30,000+ preferred pharmacies,
including Walgreens.*

Standard retail pharmacies

With more than 37,000 standard retail pharmacies in our network, including national drug and grocery stores, you can be confident that you’ll have access to the medicines you need, whether you’re at home or traveling anywhere in the U.S.

Home delivery from the Express Scripts Pharmacy

If you take one or more medicines on a regular basis, home delivery offers convenience, personalized service and potential savings.

  • Low costs – Get up to a 90-day supply of your covered drugs for a low copayment or coinsurance. Free standard shipping is included as part of your plan.

Your medication will usually arrive within 11 days of our receipt of your initial prescription.

Monthly premiums and copayments/coinsurance for some tiers may vary by region. For details, please see the Summary of Benefits or call an Express Scripts Medicare Advisor. Remember, you must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium.

In most cases, your prescriptions are covered by Express Scripts Medicare only if they are filled at a network pharmacy or through our home delivery pharmacy service.

Some medications, such as narcotics, cannot be filled through home delivery from the Express Scripts Pharmacy.

The plan will fill prescriptions at out-of-network pharmacies under certain circumstances as described in our Evidence of Coverage. Members may use any of our 67,000 network pharmacies (retail and home delivery), but costs may be lower at a pharmacy offering preferred cost-sharing. Those who receive low-income subsidy assistance (Extra Help) pay the same copayments as set by Medicare at any network pharmacy.
